Sidharth Malhotra portrays a rational and determined field researcher driven by logic and proof. Yet as strange occurrences intensify — shifting landscapes, cryptic symbols carved into bark, distant voices echoing through the canopy — his character is forced to confront the limits of human understanding. Sara Ali Khan delivers a layered performance as a cultural anthropologist whose knowledge of forgotten folklore becomes their only lifeline. Her connection to the forest’s legends reveals a chilling truth: this land does not forget, and it does not forgive.
Visually, the film promises an immersive cinematic experience. Towering emerald canopies filter shafts of golden light that quickly fade into suffocating darkness.
